I JUST DON'T GET IT

I am at the end of the first week of this quarter and I have yet to get my hands wet, so to speak. I feel like the program I am in, Network Communications Information Systems,(NCIS) is really being over looked. This is a new program to this school and when it started it was going great. The school bought brand new computers and a server just for this program. I was really impressed with the resources we were given. The book material and everything. Now as I sit here waiting for class to start tonight I am having a hard time getting excited. I am in a room next door to our computer lab and in that lab is an instructor teaching GED courses. Now tell me that makes sense. Our school acquired thousands of dollars worth of equipment for the NCIS program and now we can't even utilize it because of this GED class. I have spoken to the powers to be and they tell me we will be back in that class in a week or two and I guess that was suppose to make me happy. My response to them was, it just doesn't make sense. To that they said its sounds like you are just not happy here maybe this is not the place for you. So I guess their solution to a problem is not to fix it but ask the person that brought the problem to their attention to leave. I will be honest if it wasn't for the money that I have already invested and the fact that I do like my instructors I would have been gone a long time ago. Tell me what you think.
